Blower Basics
Today’s Roots blowers are far more efficient than the old blowers first pulled off GMC diesels. The two-rotor, straight-cut design is the most common Roots configuration. The rotors generally come with a plastic seal on the end of the rotor to limit leakage. This is a B&M MegaBlower for a big-block Chevy.
