Powerdyne’s claim to fame is a centrifugal supercharger that is internally belt-driven. Paxton uses a ball drive for its SN-73 series, while the Paxton Novi and all Vortech superchargers are internally gear driven. The belt-driven blowers are quieter than the gear-driven blowers.
