Fuel Injection Basics

The wild cam, headers, and other speed equipment would not work well at all with stock factory speed-density fuel injection, which has trouble differentiating between cam-induced manifold pressure changes and MAP changes due to engine loading. A stock factory calibration will normally run grossly rich with bad idle and bad power but with the proper changes, a factory computer can be tuned to work with a system such as this one.
