Torque-converter selection is also important when swapping to a 200-4R. Lockup converters (left) are easily identified by their flat flexplate side of the converter. Stock lockup converters are heavy, but TCI now offers smaller, higher-stall, lockup-style converters. The 200-4R converters will only interchange with some early 700-R4 transmissions. Turbo 350, 400, or Powerglide converters will not work with a 200-4R. View Related Article
