Measure the height of the release arm ball to the bellhousing flange to ensure this height is correct. This dimension is 43/4 inches. The other critical dimension is the height of the flywheel. Often, trick flywheels can be shorter which will change the relationship of the release arm to the pressure plate. All of this internal drama affects how well the clutch linkage operates. Often the linkage is blamed for a problem inside the bellhousing. View Related Article
