We also added a new Lunati timing chain and gears for reliability and accurate camshaft timing. The lower gear is numbered at three separate keys to position the camshaft straight up, advanced four degrees, or retarded four degrees. For our application, we installed the timing gear to top dead center. Because this is an in-car installation, we didn’t degree the camshaft. View Related Article
