We tested about a dozen different coil and module combinations to see if we could duplicate the problems we encountered with a mismatched coil and module combination. While we weren’t able to duplicate the poor ignition, we did discover we could tune the idle mixture much leaner with a performance HEI ignition without suffering lean misfire problems.
