The Big Squeeze

The electrical side of the nitrous system is also simple. One lead from the solenoid goes to the switch while the other side goes to ground. The momentary switch completes the circuit once the main arm switch is activated. Note the use of an inline fuse to protect the circuit in case of a short. A better scheme uses relays to power the solenoids. This reduces the electrical load on the switch, especially with a solenoid that draws higher current. View Related Article
