THIS MONTH’S COVER: Since camshafts make power and power makes the tires go ’round, a shot of a tire-smokin’ Camaro seemed appropriate for our issue on camshaft tech this month. We asked our pal Brandon Begley to abuse his blue ’68 small-block Camaro for us, and he obliged. The Camaro sports an Ed Taylor–built 377ci small-block that really thumps, so tire smoke was really easy. Jeff Smith braved the smoke to get the photo.
