Having Larry Castro's Hugger Orange '71 Camaro on the cover was a no-brainer, and the looks it generated that day proved us right. Truck driver by profession, Castro wasn't afraid to get in his Vortech packing second-gen and mash the loud pedal "to clear it out," he says. What started as a casual commute quickly turned into a game of keep-up; we couldn't, but did it ever sound good as he drove away... Catching the motion was shooter extraordinaire Wes Allison, who snapped away with his Canon 5D, while editor Henry D was out back playing assistant and pushing the 3,500-pound street ride throughout the night.
